Bench trial starts for Tyler man accused of robbery

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Friday, the bench trial started for a Tyler man accused of robbing an East Texas woman who was walking to her car from a night club.

Timothy Dewayne Pullins, 34, is charged with aggravated robbery. According to Tyler Police, a fast food restaurant's surveillance cameras captured a photo of Pullins using the woman's stolen credit card in the drive-thru. In August, Pullins was sentenced to one year in state jail for the credit card abuse.

According to Smith County Judicial Records, Pullins is scheduled to be sentenced on the aggravated robbery charge on October 17.
