Rusk County 'Most Wanted' suspect apprehended

A man who spent six months on the Rusk County Crime Stoppers Ten Most Wanted List was apprehended by authorities on Tuesday.

The Rusk County sheriff says members of the United States Marshal's Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force acted on a Crime Stoppers tip and arrested Lyndon Jaye Hughes of Rusk County. Hughes had seven warrants out for his arrest, including burglary of a building, possession of a controlled substance and indecency with a child.
Hughes was transported to the Cook County Jail, where he is being held until he is transferred to Rusk County.
