EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - Today the sunshine continues as this trend of pleasant but mild weather continues.
Highs today will once again be above average, topping out in the lower to middle 90s. A few passing high clouds are certainly not out of the question though today.
Overnight, mostly clear skies are expected. Lows will drop into the middle 60s on average. More sunshine is on tap for your Friday, but as we head into Friday evening we'll see a few clouds on the increase. Highs on Friday will be in the lower to middle 90s.
The main focus of the forecast remains on this weekend as a cold front is expected Sunday, and with it showers and maybe even a few thunderstorms are expected, and could be here as soon as later Saturday. Though it's still looking like the best rainfall will come Sunday.
A Burn Ban remains in effect for Hunt, Delta, Titus, Nacogdoches and Tyler counties.
