Omni Hotel opens three months ahead of schedule

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Nashville's newest and nicest hotel is open for business. The Omni Nashville Hotel is not only a big attraction for Music City, but it's also the second-largest hotel in the entire state.

Adjacent to the Country Music Hall of Fame and across from the recently opened Music City Center, the hotel officially opened Monday with 800 guest rooms, which include 54 suites.

The four-star diamond hotel boasts the only rooftop pool in town along with four different dining options for locals and tourists.

It's already brought in 600 jobs, and the company is currently looking to fill 90 more positions.

"Urban elegance with a vintage touch. So what they're going to experience is a fabulous hotel. And, more importantly, anybody can build a great hotel, but it's all our associates and the service, so we'll be the only four-star, four-diamond hotel located directly downtown," said Tod Roadarmel, director of sales and marketing at the Omni Nashville Hotel.

The hotel will have more than 390,000 definite room nights on the books through 2024.

Rooms start at $349 per night and up. There is good news for Tennessee residents, as the hotel will soon roll out an in-state discount for reservations.

The opening Monday was more than three months ahead of schedule.
