TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Monday, jury selection began for a Tyler man charged with aggravated robbery.

David Eugene Ford, 22, is charged with the August 2012 robbery of a South Tyler woman.

Tyler police say Ford and another man, Tevin Dorsey, took a woman's purse at gun point while she was standing in her driveway in the 2500 block of Shiloh Road.

Dorsey was taken into custody at the Economy Inn on Mineola Highway a few days after the robbery. Ford was arrested a few days after that when police received a tip on his location.

Ford's trial is expected to start this week. Dorsey's could follow soon after.
