Mitch Goulding

A Texas native, Mitch Goulding joined the KLTV team in April of 2013 and is glad to finally be back reporting the Lone Star State.

Mitch grew up in Dallas, TX before moving up north to attend college at New York University. He graduated in May 2012 with degrees in Broadcast Journalism, Spanish & French.

As a student at NYU, Mitch took full advantage of living in the media capital of the world. While there he began his career interning at local station WPIX, before moving on to intern at Fox News' Fox & Friends, ABC World News, CBS Evening News and Good Morning America, both in New York and Los Angeles.

During his time at ABC, Mitch had the privilege of working on Diane Sawyer's exclusive interview with Jaycee Dugard, the California girl who was kidnapped and remained missing for 18 years.

While still in school, Mitch began his career working for Good Morning America as a production associate. There he shot, wrote, produced and edited stories for America's #1 morning show. While at GMA, Mitch also had the honor of being part of a two-time Emmy nominated team of producers.

Mitch then transitioned back into local news, where he interned for most of college. He worked as a field producer and photographer for NY1, covering major national stories including the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the Sandy Hook school shootings and the election of the new Pope.

In his free time, Mitch enjoys any outdoor activities: running, skiing and swimming, just to name a few!

Mitch is thrilled to be in East Texas, where he has family in Canton. He can't wait to meet its people and tell their stories! If you have an idea you think should be a story, email Mitch at
