LSU defeats the Auburn tigers in death valley

 

The Auburn Tigers were defeated by LSU in a rainy hard fought game in Death Valley. LSU lead the first half scoring a total of 14 points against the Tigers. 

During the second half Auburn came back to score three touchdowns against LSU but it wasn't enough to beat LSU. The final score was LSU 35 Auburn 21.

Ryan White recovered the LSU first-quarter fumble for his first career fumble recovery; it was also Ryan Smith's first career forced fumble
 
The 54-yard second-quarter run by LSU's Jeremy Hill was the longest rushing play against Auburn this season; the previous long entering the game was a 47-yard gain by Mississippi State's Dak Prescott. Hill's 49-yard touchdown run in the first quarter was the longest rushing touchdown against Auburn this season
 
Tre Mason has moved into 28th place on Auburn's career rushing list with 1,425* yards. Rushing for 56* yards against LSU, he passed Mitzi Jackson (1,373 yards from 1973-75) and Monk Gafford (1,414 yards from 1940-42).
 
Steven Clark is now seventh among Auburn career punt leaders, with 165 punts for 6,627 yards. He passed Jon Kilgore (163 punts from 1962-64). 
 
Ricardo Louis has a career-best four receptions
