Ingredients: 1 lb. Ground beef 2 eggs 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup beef broth 1 cup quick cooking rolled oats 3 cups all purpose flour
Method: 1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets. 2. In a large mixing bowl combine flour & oats. Stir in the beef, cheese, broth and eggs. Divide dough into 2 balls . 3.knead each dough ball on a well floured surface, about 2 minutes, adding flour until the dough is no longer sticky. 4.With a rolling pin, roll dough to a 1/2 inch thickness, using a bone cutter, cookie cutter, top of a glass or free form with knife, make biscuits and place on cookie sheets. 5.Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden browned. 6. Cool on a rack and store at room temperature, in a container with a loose fitting lid. Makes about 75 small bone-size biscuits.
Note: these can be consumed by 2 legged creatures so of course our 4 legged buddies like them.
