From the Cherokee County Sheriff:

Cherokee County Sheriff's Office is looking for assistance in identifying two suspects in a local burglary that occurred on September 11, 2013 at approximately 1:45am.

The suspects broke into Bonner Salvage located on Highway 110 North in the Troup area. The suspects first disabled the power to the building and made entry through a rear door. Once inside they attempted to disable the alarm by removing the control panel from the wall.

Once they felt the alarm was disabled, they broke into the office and attempted to remove a safe that was bolted down. While attempting to take the safe, the alarm sounded and the suspects ran from the building.

Investigators believe that the suspects are local to the area, either Cherokee or Smith County, and someone will recognize them.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office at 903-683-2271.
