TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Tuesday was Constitution Day, and to celebrate, Tyler Junior College brought in a big name.

Baylor University President Ken Starr came to campus to speak with students, and offer thoughts on the U.S. Constitution, its history, and its intent.

On the topic of amending the constitution, he told the audience that different generations have taken the opportunity to make changes, whether it be the Bill of Rights, or abolishing slavery.

But, he said it's anyone's guess as to what the next amendment will be.

"Someone suggested term limits for members of Congress," Starr said. "That would require a constitutional amendment. Others talked about the definition of marriage or parental rights. I suggested that the constitution require that to be President of the United States, you have to be a natural born citizen. So we had a very lively debate about that."

The U.S. Constitution was signed on September 17, 1787.
