Tyler police: suspect on the run after Tyler restaurant hold-up

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Police are searching for a suspect responsible for an armed robbery at a Tyler restaurant.

Officers were called to the Dominos Pizza on West Gentry Parkway at 10:20 p.m. Sunday. Employees told police that an armed man walked into the store demanding money. Employees gave the man an undetermined amount of cash before he fled on foot.

The suspect was described as being about 5'10'' tall, approximately 160lbs, and possibly wearing a wig. He was wearing a black long sleeve t-shirt, black gloves, black pants, and a piece of clothing wrapped around his face. The employees also stated that the males clothing had paint splashes all over.

No one was injured during the robbery.

This incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information about this case is urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833). Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
