During a Tyler Independent School District board workshop meeting on Monday, the board of trustees announced that they are selling the old Jones Elementary School property.
During the meeting at the Jim Plyler Instructional Complex in Tyler, officials said that the property, which will be officially sold on September 26, will bring the district $465,000. The winning bid, which was placed a few months ago, was made by an unnamed buyer.
