Sheriff recovers drugs, stolen property, car while executing warrant

RUSK COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

A woman was arrested after officers executed a search warrant at a residence on County Road 171 in Rusk County and found drugs and stolen property.

According to Rusk County Sheriff Jeff Price, investigators and deputies from the Rusk County Sheriff's Department found suspected methamphetamine, marijuana and paraphernalia at the residence. They also found stolen property from five different Rusk County theft cases and a stolen property from Kilgore. 

The woman was charged with narcotics offenses. 

The investigation is ongoing and further charges and arrests are expected.

The East Texas Auto Theft Task Force and the Henderson and Kilgore Police Departments assisted in executing the warrant.
