EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - The heat will continue Thursday, as much of East Texas is again expected to top out in the mid to upper 90s.
We'll see plenty of sunshine to start the day, then a few daytime clouds are expected in the afternoon hours. A few stray thunder showers are also expected in our far southeastern counties, but just like Wednesday most areas are expected to remain dry. Any rain that does develop will dissipate through sunset and skies will clear up overnight.
Lows will drop into the lower to middle 70s.
More of the same is on tap to end the work week, but the rain chances do go down a bit. Still a couple of thunder showers will be around in deep East Texas on your Friday. Highs will again top out in the mid to upper 90s.
