LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

One person has been arrested and police are still searching for another after an early-morning police chase.

Lubbock police say that on Monday, Sept. 2 at 3:25 a.m., two suspects in a green Ford Explorer pulled up to Larry Flores after he exited his vehicle at Park Tower Apartments at 1617 27th St. The passenger asked for directions and as Mr. Flores approached the passenger window to give directions, the suspect tased him in the neck.

Police broadcast a description of the suspect vehicle. An officer spotted the vehicle at 19th & Avenue Q and pulled it over.

Two people jumped out of the vehicle and fled. An officer with a K-9 chased and arrested 35-year-old Direece Wynne.

The other suspect has not been located.

Wynne was taken to UMC for medical examination and transported to the LPD holding facility.
