MVSU ready to represent SWAC in Orlando

ITTA BENA, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Mississippi Valley State is getting ready for Sunday's SWAC/MEAC Football Challenge.

The Delta Devils will play in the game for the first time in school history, and Devils head coach Karl Morgan says he is honored to be apart of the event.

"It's big for us because we're representing the conference on a national scene. It's an honor to play in the game. It's the first time Mississippi Valley has been invited to come play in Orlando. Hopefully we can show up and represent the conference well," said Morgan.

"It means a lot to us because we have a point to prove. Everybody is going to be watching the game. We can show the world what we can do," said quarterback Patrick Ivy.
