An East Texas man was flown to a Houston hospital Tuesday evening after an accident at work.
Drake Floyd, 19, of Hudson was working at McCoy's Building Supply in Lufkin Tuesday afternoon, unloading sheet rock.
Lufkin police say, for some reason, he walked between a truck, and a store forklift carrying the building material. While he was there, he got stuck between the truck, and the sheet rock on the forklift.
Police tell KLTV 7 that Floyd had severe internal injuries to his chest cavity, and was taken to a Lufkin hospital in critical condition.
We're told that when he was flown to Houston, his condition had been upgraded to stable.
