Here are a few stories we think you'll find interesting today:

1.The search continues for a Sabine Parish man police say can be seen on surveillance video being taken at gunpoint by a Natchitoches police officer. That officer, 34-year-old Robert Barthelemy, was taken into custody early Wednesday morning after a high-speed chase, but the victim of the kidnapping, 25 year-old Tony Procell, has still not been found. 2. An East Texas constable has been indicted for tampering with a government record with intent to defraud or harm.According to the indictment, Kaufman County Precinct 2 Constable Joe Don Law was indicted August 20 for knowingly altering a government record. Details here.

3. Gregg County Sheriff Maxey Cerliano announced today additional information regarding the investigation into the death of jail inmate, Debra Ingram Duffie, a 52 year old female who died August 19, 2013.  The medical examiner has released his initial autopsy findings. You can read those here.
