SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

'Swamp People' co-star Troy Broussard has been cited for a red light violation after a collision Monday morning in downtown Shreveport.

Shreveport Police say Broussard was hauling his boat with his 2013 Ford F-250 heading southbound on North Market Street around 9 a.m. when he reportedly disregarded a red light at the intersection of Spring and Lake Street.

A driver heading eastbound on Lake Street struck the back end of Broussard's boat, knocking it partially off of the trailer and striking a telephone pole. That brought some lines down and tied up traffic for some time.

The woman driving the Ford Expedition that struck the boat was taken to Willis Knighton Pierremont what what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.

Broussard had been in Shreveport for the Forrest Wood Cup fishing tournament.
