Contrary to popular belief, fruit juice could be worse for you than soda.
In his book Fat Chance: The Bitter Truth about Sugar American obesity expert Robert Lusting says that juice is just basically sugar and therefore not healthy for you.
In fact, Lusting tells the Telegraph that "calorie for calorie" 100 percent juice is worse for you than sugary sodas.
Lusting says the biggest problem with juice is the lack of fiber.
He says the fiber gives your body a chance to fully metabolize what you're eating.
