PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A couple, believed to be targeting hundreds of Arizona residents, has been caught with stolen mail from Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa and Sedona.

Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Tommy Thompson said the U.S. Postal Inspection Service Identity Theft and Economic Crimes Task Force arrested Stephen Ross, 43, and Shawna Ross, 47, on forgery-related charges at a hotel in the 1600 block of W. Elliot Road in Tempe on Thursday.

Thompson said officers also found a printer and other items used to forge checks. Illegal drugs were also seized.

Police said the couple will face additional charges as the investigation continues.
