few showers developed along the Henderson and Smith County line around 12:15.
These showers are moving southeast around 15MPH. There appears to
be an area of good moisture convergence across Cherokee Anderson and Houston
This should allow for a few more showers and isolated
thunderstorms to develop, especially around Crockett where temperatures are
approaching 90 degrees. Nothing severe but we are still being influenced
by a mid level disturbance moving across the area.
Areas of East Texas
north of I-20 should remain dry the rest of the day. I am personally
enjoying the surprise showers. 85% of East Texas will not any rain but a
few areas could see some local heavy downpours.
