PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Glendale firefighters knocked down an attic fire at a house in Phoenix on Friday morning.

The fire started around 9:30 a.m. near 35th and Peoria avenues, and Glendale was the first to arrive, according to a Glendale Fire Department spokesman.

Damage was limited and the fire was quickly brought under control, the spokesman said.

No injuries were reported. There was no damage estimate available.
