SURPRISE, AZ (CBS5) -

Two missing runaways from the northwest Valley are home safe, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said.

Glendale police got a call at about 2 p.m. Monday alerting them about two youngsters matching the description of the runaways in the area of 115th Avenue and Glendale.

MCSO said the kids are home safe and reunited with their parents.

Serenity Escobedo, 14, of Waddell, and Christian Brown, 11, of Surprise, ran away from their homes Thursday.
