Happy Friday, everyone! We hope you're having a good one.

Here are a few stories we think you'll  be interested in this afternoon:

1.Police say they have obtained an arrest warrant for a man they believe was involved in the shooting death of a young mom at Cole Park in Tyler on July 30. 20-year-old Briana Raquel Young was shot and killed in what was believed to be a gang-related shooting. Tyler PD said at the time that she was an innocent bystander. They are asking for the public's help in locating 20-year-old Rakheem Goldstein. Call 903-531-1000 if you know where Goldstein is today. More on that on East Texas News at 5.



2. Happening now: Fire crews are battling a multi-home fire in Ore City. According to witnesses, the fire started as a brush pile and spread to a home, which burned completely to the ground. The fire then spread to another house and it has burned completely to the ground as well.The fire is still spreading. We have a crew on the scene and will bring you more on East Texas News at 4, 5 and 6.

 3. President Obama is making clear he has no intention of stopping the daily collection of phone records from millions of Americans. But his administration is promising more oversight in how those programs are carried out. More details on what the President said in his press conference today here.

4. Some electronics- and boat-hungry thieves are being searched for in Wood County today. A home was burglarized while the owner was out of town, and an $85,000 boat was taken, as well as thousands of dollars worth of electronics. If you have any information about this crime, call the Wood County Sheriff's Department at 903-763-2201.

5. Nine counties are now under burn bans; Gregg was added today. Please don't do any burning in the counties in this list; in other counties, proceed with extreme caution if you burn at all.

6. Contract construction crews will close the Tyler intersection of Front Street (SH 31) and Broadway Avenue in Tyler to all traffic at 8 p.m. tonight so work can begin to repair the damaged storm drain that caused a sink hole to form in the intersection on July 23.
