2 East Texans jailed after beating victims with walking cane

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

A pair of East Texans are in jail after beating two victims with a walking cane.

Jason Jerome Green, 33, and Mary Annette Johnson, 42, both of Longview, were arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a weapon for attacking two victims near the intersection of Oden and Mobberly Avenue on Thursday night.

Police say Green and Johnsoon beat two victims, one 56, the other 76, kicking and punching then, then beating them with the elderly man's walking cane.

The victims were hospitalized and their conditions have not been released.

Green and Johnson are being held on a $25,000 bond each.
