An important message for Dish customers: You have options

We have something very important to tell you about your ability to watch KSLA News 12, along with all the other programming we bring you each day.

If you are a Dish satellite customer, you may have noticed that KSLA is no longer available on Dish lineups as of 1 a.m. Thursday. Read more about that here.

That means you will be missing your local news, weather and sports as well as CBS programming.

In spite of the removal of KSLA from the Dish Network lineup, we want you to know that you do have options. Other carriers will still carry KSLA, and we are available free over the airwaves.

We also stream every newscast live on our website and through our mobile apps for smartphones and wifi-enabled iPads and tablets.

If you don't have our apps, you can download them by texting APPS to 81212 from your smartphone. Click here for information on all of our apps, including our apps for Android tablets and iPads.

You can also watch your favorite CBS shows online for free.

You can be sure you don't miss breaking news and weather from KSLA News 12 by signing up for our newsletters and breaking news alerts.

We also keep our followers and fans up-to-date on all the latest news and hot topics on Facebook and Twitter.

Keep in mind that if Dish does remove KSLA from their lineup, subscribers will continue to be continue to pay for it. Subscribers can call Dish Network at 1-888-926-5457 to request credit or a rebate if this happens.
