CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
On Saturday, July 27, at around 7:00 a.m. a Cleveland woman returned home from work to find a racial slur plastered across the exterior of her home located on W. 127th St. Like most people, she is very unsettled by this discovery but to make matters worse, she had just moved into her home just days before the incident.
The victim of what is being considered a hate crime by Cleveland Police, is a white young woman with a 2-year-old bi-racial daughter. She says since she moved in, certain neighbors had shouted similar racial slurs at her in an attempt to scare her away.
The Cleveland Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
