The Egg & I: Patriot Waffles

The Egg & I Patriot Waffles:


4 oz waffle batter (use your favorite recipe or mix)

Sprinkle powdered sugar

¼ Cup fresh blueberries

¼ Cup fresh raspberries


Ladle 4 oz Waffle Batter in to hot waffle iron.

Cook for 3 minutes or until golden brown in color.

Carefully remove and place on plate.

Evenly distribute fresh berries on entire waffle.

Sprinkle powdered sugar on entire waffle.

Optional: Place a scoop of butter or fresh whipped cream in the center of the waffle.

Optional: Serve with a small side of maple syrup
