3 suspects arrested for assault, robbery in Longview park

From the Longview Police Department:

LONGVIEW, TX - On Thursday at 5:25 p.m., Longview police were dispatched to Broughton Park in the 800 block of Martin Luther King Blvd for a fight. When officers arrived, they located a victim who had been assaulted and robbed by several black males.

The victim stated the black males that robbed him displayed guns during the robbery. The victim was able to identify the suspects. Two of the suspects were located near the park and another suspect was found hiding inside a slide at the park.

The suspects were identified as Tony Nelson, 18, and Bron Quivius Gray, 17, both of Longview. A third juvenile suspect was also detained and taken to the Gregg County Juvenile Detention facility. Nelson was charged with aggravated robbery and possession of a firearm by a felon in a weapon free zone. Gray was charged with aggravated robbery and unlawfully carrying a weapon in a weapon free zone. Four guns were recovered from the scene.
