Suspect in custody after Mt. Auburn shooting

MT. AUBURN, OH (FOX19) -

Cincinnati Police say a man was shot Wednesday evening in Mt. Auburn.  It happened around 6 p.m. on Kinsey Avenue.

According to officers, a male victim showed up at nearby Christ Hospital on his own. He was then transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment. His condition is unknown.

Police say a suspect was caught inside an empty home in the 2400 block of Highland Ave. 

The suspect, John Hendrix, was arrested and taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center. His bond was set at $50,000 during an arraignment on Thursday morning.
