Sanderson Farm Championship events are underway

MADISON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Organizers are preparing for big crowds at the Sanderson Farms Championship golf tournament at Annandale Country Club this week.  The new sponsor is planning a week full of events including concerts and  sample tasting from local restaurants.

A Jr. Pro-AM is being held Tuesday Afternoon, and the Trustmark Wealth Management Pro-AM tees off at 7 a.m. Wednesday morning.

The tournament gets underway Thursday morning with a group that includes 2012 Ryder Cup Team Captain Davis Love III.

A one day pass is $20.00 and parking is free this year. If you can't make it to Annandale, The Golf Channel will be televising each afternoon at 3 p.m.

Sanderson Farms will evaluate the tournament afterwards to determine if they will return as sponsor next year.
