A Colerain man is facing charges after admitting to police that he committed at least eight burglaries.
Ryan Hite, 24, of Gravenhurst Drive, is charged with three counts of burglary, with five additional accounts pending.
Hite told police he committed the burglaries between May 3 and July 1. Five of them were not reported to police.
Hite was identified as a suspect when detectives were investigating a burglary on Woodsong Drive. A search of pawn shops led him to being identified as the person who had pawned stolen property. As detectives investigated further, they identified a second suspect who will be also charged through direct indictment. That person's name has not been released.
Police say Hite would enter the homes during the day while the victims were at home and enter through unlocked doors or would use a credit card to open back doors.
