Hot, humid temperatures through Friday in Cincinnati/NKY area - KLTV.com-Tyler, Longview, Jacksonville, Texas | ETX News

Relief from the heat on the way but you will have to wait

Posted: Updated:
(FOX19) -

Scattered showers have increased the humidity.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the heat index was around 100º in most of the Tri-State.

Spotty showers that popped up around the FOX19 viewing area this afternoon have done nothing but increase the humidity.

They do not last long but they contain brief, heavy downpours.

In short, there is no rain you can count on until the weekend, so water the garden or lawn if you need to.

Hot, sticky weather continues into Friday.

Saturday will be full of clouds and rain. It will still be quite humid but not nearly as hot.

Relief is on the way for Sunday and Monday with lower humidity.
