LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

According to an arrest report obtained by FOX5, two Las Vegas bail bondsmen posed as police officers, robbed and kidnapped dancers in an attempt to get at a man who skipped out on bail.

Charles Rush, 29, and Christopher Ontiveros-Mendez, 28, were arrested on Friday, July 12 and charged with robbery with a deadly weapon, first-degree kidnapping with a deadly weapon, impersonating a police officer and auto burglary.

Police said they were contacted by a dancer on July 12 who said that she had been kidnapped and held against her will in an apartment at a complex located at 8025 W. Russell Rd. in Las Vegas.

The dancer said she is employed by a company called All Access and had been contacted to perform at a bachelor party. When she arrived at the apartment, the victim said she was grabbed by two men who identified themselves as Metro officers.

According to the report, the men placed the victim in handcuffs, told her she was under arrest for prostitution, tried to take her cell phone and briefly displayed badges.

The suspects also allegedly took the victim's wallet, cash, beauty supplies and car keys. The victim was allegedly strip searched and asked if she could identify a mug shot of a man the suspects said they were looking for.

The victim was released by the suspects after about 30 minutes, the report states.

Another dancer and alleged victim interviewed by Metro police told a very similar story of kidnapping and interrogation by the suspects.

Police later located Rush wearing body armor with the word "Agent" written on the back and a badge hanging from a lanyard from his neck. He also had an empty handcuff case on his belt and was armed with a handgun, the report states.

Police said they discovered Mendez in street clothes with a badge clipped to his belt. Police said he had a handcuff case, handgun and spare magazine.

During an interview, police said Rush told them he is employed as a fugitive recovery agent who works as an independent contractor for Bust Out Bail Bondsmen in Las Vegas. He said he was tasked with apprehending a man named Deshawn Glenn, who was wanted for skipping out on an $80,000 bond.

Angela Montellingo, a bail agent for the company referenced by Rush, told FOX5 on Tuesday that Rush was not working for the company at the time the alleged crime was committed.

Rush, according to the report, told police that he and his partner, Ontiveros-Mendez, devised a plan to apprehend Glenn by calling an escort image in the hopes that he would accompany a dancer, as it was believed Glenn works as a pimp.

Rush and Ontiveros-Mendez were identified by their alleged victims. They were booked into the Clark County Detention Center, police said.
