Proud of East Texas: Prieferts

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

The Priefert Brothers of Mt. Pleasant are cowboys, ranchers, hunters, businessmen and the stars of the reality hunting show, "Backwoods Bloodline".

The show, which airs on the Sportsman Channel featuring brothers Eddie, Nate, and Travis, isn't just a hunting show, it's more of a lifestyle.

That lifestyle was first created by the brothers grandfather Marvin, who turned his invention of a cattle head gate into a thriving business.  His son Bill expanded the business to over twelve hundred products, including farm, ranch, and rodeo equipment,

Eddie Priefert is now President of Prieferts, with his brothers as Vice Presidents.  They've even turned "Backwoods Bloodline" into a marketing tool for their business, since most ranchers are also hunters.
