Yesterday parts of East Texas got some good rain, and today we will again stand the chance for a few more spotty showers, but not nearly as good of a chance as what we saw yesterday.
Today we will see a couple of isolated showers, but I think most areas will remain on the dry side. Anything that does develop will be very hit or miss. Highs today will top out in the middle to upper 90s.
As we head overnight, we will begin to see skies clear. Lows will drop into the lower to middle 70s so a mild and muggy night once again.
The weekend looks mainly dry with highs close to the middle 90s both days. Sunday evening brings a very slim chance for a few spotty showers but just like today I think most areas will be on the dry side.
