Girl's prize pig sold for mother with breast cancer

A 220-pound pig is helping to save the lives of women with breast cancer.

Jessabell the pig will be sold at auction to the highest bidder at the Adams County 4-H Livestock Auction. Jessabell's owner, 12-year-old Gracie Grooms, has big plans for the prize money.

Gracie's mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer. To help out her mother, Gracie is doing her best to help those affected.

Gracie will be donating all of the proceeds from the sale of her prize pig to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and The American Cancer Society.

Jessabell will be sold to the highest bidder on July 22 at the Adams County Fairgrounds. The livestock auction begins at 9:00 a.m.
