The Clark County coroner's office said an inmate asphyxiated due to police restraint methods during a reported struggled with officers earlier this year.

According to the coroner's office Thursday, 38-year-old Luis Solano's death stemmed from complications of positional asphyxia due to police restraint procedures. Medical examiners also ruled renal failure as a significant factor in Solano's death.
