4th of July Weather: Partly cloudy and warm. Chance of an isolated T’Storm. Highs in the lower 90s

EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - Happy Independence Day East Texas. This afternoon will be very typical for early July.

Highs will reach the lower 90s with a partly cloudy sky and east southeasterly winds between 5 and 10miles per hour.  There will be a slight chance of afternoon and evening thundershowers, but most areas will remain dry.

For this evening, temperatures will be in the lower to middle 80s after sunset for all the firework festivities.  Any evening thundershower should die out shortly after sunset.

By Friday morning temperatures will drop down into the upper 60s to near 70 degrees.  Friday will be partly cloudy and hot with a slight chance of a late day pop up storm.  Highs will reach the middle 90s.
