Twymond Howard was a highly sought after high school basketball player coming out of Pearl H.S. He ended up signing last year with UTEP.
This past season Howard was a true freshman at UTEP. He saw limited action in 12 games and averaged 1.3 points per game.
After the season Howard decided that he wanted to leave west Texas and transfer. He returned to Mississippi to be closer to his 2-year-old son and signed to play at Southwest Mississippi Community College.
Howard hopes to play one year at the JUCO level and work his way back to a Division 1 school.
