2 officers wounded in gunfire in Granbury, TX

GRANBURY, Texas (AP) - Two law enforcement officers have been shot in the North Texas city of Granbury while in the apparent pursuit of a suspect.

Hood County Sheriff Roger Deeds says the gunfire happened late Friday morning. No information was immediately released on the fate of a suspect allegedly involved in the gunfire. A white van remained at the scene in downtown Granbury, about 25 miles southwest of Fort Worth.

Granbury police did not immediately return messages about the shootings.

Messages left with the mayor of Granbury and the city manager also weren't immediately returned
