(RNN) - Dzhokar Tsarnaev, the surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing, has been indicted by a federal grand jury on Thursday.
Tsarnaev was indicted on 30 charges, including using a weapon of mass destruction.
Dzhokar Tsarnaev and his older brother, Tamerlan, allegedly placed two bombs made of pressure cookers and shrapnel near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on April 15.
The explosions killed three people and wounded more than 260, many losing legs because the bombs were placed on the ground.
