Clean Up Begins In Florida

Tropical Depression Frances is now over Georgia where about a half-million residents have been left without power this morning. The storm has already left its mark on Florida after a two day assault on the state. At least ten deaths have been blamed on the storm so far.

About three million Floridians are still without power and tens of thousands are staying in shelters. Damaged homes and buildings are a common site this morning and emergency officials say it's still too dangerous for those in the hardest hit areas to return home.

President Bush will head to Florida tomorrow to survey the damage from Frances. He's asking congress to approve two billion dollars to help the victims of Hurricanes Frances and Charley.
