Retired pro soccer player Daniel Hernandez to host camp in East Texas

EAST TEXAS (KLTV) -

For 15 seasons, Daniel Hernandez played soccer at the pro level.

Now the East Texan wants to help the future players in East Texan.

The former John Tyler Lion played several years in Major League Soccer (MLS) in the United States as well as the pro leagues in Mexico.

He will be holding a camp for area youth in the upcoming weeks.

Helmets that advertise lowering the impact of hits, and possibly reduce the amount of concussions, come with a hefty price-tag.
