Burglar swipes safe from beauty supply store

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

An alleged burglar is on the loose after police said he stole a safe from a store last week in south Nashville.

Detectives are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the man who stole a safe during a burglary of the Sally Beauty Supply store at 55 East Thompson Lane.

The suspect entered the business by breaking out the glass at 1:40 a.m. Thursday. He then grabbed the safe and fled the scene.

The burglary was recorded on the store's surveillance system.

Anyone recognizing the burglar from the accompanying photographs is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
