Guardsmen help build habitat home

Posted: Updated:
LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

Habitat for Humanity was hard at work this morning in Longview, and their latest project is coming together with the help of some national guardsmen.

It's the 82nd home Longview Habitat for Humanity has built. The house sits on the 600 block of Harrison road, and members of the national guard are making sure it's a job well done. Guardsmen pitched in, doing everything from driving nails to laying laminate floor. 25-guard members turned out to help.

Habitat for Humanity will continue the project tomorrow, this time with the help of 45 guard members.
