LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

From the Longview Police Department:

On June 6, 2013 at 12:32 p.m., Police were dispatched to an Accident with Injuries at the intersection of Judson Road and East Hawkins Parkway. When officers arrived they found the driver of a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle, identified as Kevin Heath Puckett 41, of Longview lying under a lawn care trailer.

The trailer was attached to a 2006 gray Ford F150 driven by 38 year-old Aarron Michael McFatridge of Longview. Witnesses said Puckett was traveling westbound in the inside lane of East Hawkins Parkway when he lost control of his motorcycle and fell onto the roadway. Puckett then rolled several feet and came to rest under the trailer located in the outside westbound lane of East Hawkins Parkway.

McFatridge was unaware Puckett had rolled under the trailer as he was making a right turn onto NorthJudson Road. The trailer drug Puckett several feet before coming to a stop. Puckett was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center with life threatening injuries.

McFatridge was not issued any citations and charges are not expected to be filed. The crash remains under investigation.
