TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

A Tyler man was hit in the head and robbed Thursday afternoon at the corner of Valentine and Beckham around 3:45 in Tyler.

Oscar Dominguez runs an appliance shop. He says two men approached him in his shop, then shook a liquid similar to turpentine in his face. One of the men held Dominguez arms while the other hit him in the head with a baseball bat and stole his wallet from his pocket. Oscar's brother explains what happened next.

"They just took off. They were on foot, but I'm pretty sure they got in a car back on the other block. It's what they did the other day, too. They had been watching him you know, they had been watching his movements, and they decide to do it today. Not too many people here," Javier Pacheco said.

Javier says he saw the men earlier in the week, although he wasn't there today when the incident occurred. He described them as two black males in their twenties, one tall and one average height.
