Whitehouse baseball headed to state

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Whitehouse baseball had never advanced to state.  The 2013 Wildcats have made it look pretty easy making school history.

Whitehouse won it's tenth consecutive playoff game Friday night at Mike Carter Field, beating Frisco Liberty 6 to 1. The Wildcats outscored the Red Hawks 12 to 1 over the past two nights.  Whitehouse advances to the 4A state semifinals in Round Rock.

The Wildcats had a 6 to 0 lead after three innings, and were never in real danger.  Pitcher Ryan Cheatham remained perfect on the season.

Whitehouse will play Thursday at Dell Diamond in Round Rock at 4 p.m. or 7 p.m.
